As the daughter of a professional photographer Viki Mammina discovered her passion for art at a young age. It was in her father’s studio that she learned the delicate art of hand tinting, airbrush and vintage photo restoration. Her talent was recognized early; in high school she received several awards including a scholarship that allowed her to attend the Chicago Academy of Art. After working as a graphic artist at K&S Photographics in Chicago she had a successful career in photo retouching until the widespread use of graphic software. Since that time Mammina has expanded her artistic direction to include photographic art, surrealism, illustration, CD cover art and portrait painting.
Viki Mammina’s art studio is located in Nashville, TN. Throughout the years, she has been commissioned to paint family portraits, landscapes, animals, CD covers, and Illustrations.
